With its corporate offices based South West Staffordshire, this market leading organisation wishes to appoint a dedicated Digital Product Owner that will initially champion and drive the business’ enhancement of existing platforms, with a view to the subsequent design and development of new products.

Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Strategy and responsible for online channels, both from a technology and user experience perspective, your role will be a key one within the wider team and pivotal to the success of the business as it grows. With a focus on aiding the business to win, retain and engage effectively with ongoing customers, you’ll also lead on the development of products in collaboration with technical partners and project manage accordingly.

In this broad ranging Digital Product Ownership position, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Owning key products, platforms and development roadmaps
  • Effectively sourcing and managing external agencies and third party suppliers (including developers and designers)
  • Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring adherence to SLA’s
  • Prioritising projects in line with the business’ strategic objectives
  • Monitoring, measuring and stakeholder reporting
  • User testing
  • Presentations
  • Troubleshooting

Possessing demonstrable experience from within an appropriate previous post, you’ll be seasoned at working effectively with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate into functional specifications and accompanying project plans. With strong web development experience and excellent all-round communication skills, you’ll also have the ability to work well in a SCRUM / Agile environment and write comprehensive, concise and well-structured documentation.

On offer is a basic starting salary of c£38,000 - £42,000 per annum (though negotiable subject to experience), along with a range of benefits that include:
