We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator. Although the role will be based on the outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk, the successful candidate may be required to travel to other areas to provide appropriate support.

Purpose of the Role

To actively promote the Homes in the region through engagement with local community groups and internal event organisation and management
To work closely with the Home Manager.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Undertake marketing communications projects, such as large scale corporate events and integrated marketing campaigns, using appropriate tools where required
Manage different suppliers such as external agencies to ensure that a cost effective product or service is received on time and to budget
Day to day management of costs against budget on different campaigns
To work with the Home Manager(s) to ensure décor, gardens and home presentations are to a high standard
Utilise local advertising media
Ensure the home has adequate marketing material, keeping the Marketing Dept. at Head Office updated of all requirements on a regular basis.
Engage with local Community Groups and link into or access local events to raise the profile through involvement and presentation
Work with schools and colleges to support young people with a wish to be involved in care
Establish good relationships with local Commissioning teams
Undertake general marketing research and administration as and when required


Good verbal and written communications skills in order to professionally represent the company in all dealings with individuals and external contacts
Pleasant and friendly telephone manner
Co-operate and maintain good working relationships with other colleagues both at home level and head office
Maintain good relationships and an empathetic and professional approach to residents, and relatives
Skills and Attributes Required

Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
Sales experience
Previous experience of organising and marketing events from start to finish
Self starter with good interpersonal skills
Driver with own transport essential

The position is 40 hours per week, working mainly Monday to Friday. However, there may be occasions when the successful candidate will be asked to work additional hours at weekends when large events are taking place, flexibility is therefore essential.
