A brand is a company's most important asset. Brand ambassadors help marketing and sales managers increase brand value by representing the brand to target customers

A person who represents a brand to targeted customers in order to increase awareness, create a specific image, generate sales opportunities and build customer preference is a brand ambassador. Brand ambassadors are sometimes full-time employees of a company or part-time project hires to work a specific event.


  • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate;
  • Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority;
  • Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments;
  • Dealing with incoming email, and post, often corresponding on behalf of the Director;
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations;
  • Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the Director is well prepared for meetings;
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, introducers, agents and other corporate stakeholders.
  • In addition to supporting Directors, also carrying out specific allocated projects
  • Monitor and understand the brand’s movement, pricing, and distribution patterns
  • Be the firm’s(brand’s) face at marketing meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Help in putting marketing displays in place and making sure that the brand’s advertising instruments are positioned at strategic points
  • Formulate, develop, and maintain strong communication links with customers
  • Represent the brand to the customers in a positive manner at all times
  • Work with the firm’s sales/marketing division(s) to understand the firm’s goals/objectives
  • Plan and carry out awareness programs to get to prospective customers
  • Provide insights and feedbacks on issues concerning the brand
  • Promote the brand through personal social media accounts.


  • Manage the Director’s diary and appointments, ensuring effective use of time and preparation of papers and information in advance
  • To filter incoming mail: sorting, redirecting and taking action as appropriate
  • To prepare and/or draft correspondence for the Director, as required
  • To carry out a range of administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, making travel arrangements, expenses, holidays etc
  • To work co-operatively with colleagues in the Exco Team providing support and cover as required.
  • To organise internal and external meetings and teleconferences, including booking venues, arranging accommodation and taking minutes as required.
  • To prepare agendas for Exco and SMT meetings, ensure paper and presentations are accurate and prepared and disseminated on time.
  • To ensure departmental/Exco deadlines are met for corporate activities
  • To attend and contribute to meetings on the Director’s behalf, reporting back and following up appropriately

  • Passion for growing relationship(s) with customers of different backgrounds
  • Must have a well established online (social media) presence
  • Must show high levels of credibility at all times
  • Must be a team-player. This attribute is necessary in the delivery of quality service
  • Willingness to learn, or put differently, openness to new ideas on the part of the brand ambassador is also required
  • A degree in marketing or other similar discipline
  • 1-2 years experience in a similar position
