Overview

We're looking for an experienced Product Owner to deliver the Halfords Autocentres digital road map, for our customer facing eCommerce website. You will be working as part of a small Scrum team and in addition to the primary role of Product Owner, you will need to assume the role of Product Analyst, Scrum Master and Support Manager. You will be the conduit between our business 'hub' team in Redditch and our development 'spoke' team in Shoreditch. Regular travel to the Shoreditch office will be necessary.



Responsibilities

    Deliver the projects on the website development roadmap

      Refine and prioritise the development backlog

      Carry out product analysis to translate business objectives into well-thought-out user stories for the development team

      Manage the UX/UI agency

      Facilitate Sprint ceremonies such as planning, refinement and daily stand ups

      Unblock issues for developers

      Present Sprint Reviews to stakeholders and developers

      Line manage the Junior Test Analyst

      Share good practice with other Scrum teams within the Halfords group

    Manage support issues

      Log website issues reported by colleagues and customers

      Triage issues and liaise with relevant parties to ensure their timely resolution

      Attend weekly call with agency Support manager

      Monitor site performance, ensuring website is available for trading at all times



Skills and Experience

We're looking for an individual that can delight our customers, whether they be business stakeholders or end users of the website. You will use your diplomacy, negotiation and analytical skills to successfully prioritise projects and see them through to completion at an uncompromising standard.

Although you will not necessarily have a technical background, you need to be comfortable understanding common web development terminology and appreciate the capabilities and limitations available to the developers.

You will have experience as a Product Owner, Product Analyst or Scrum Master experience, or experience in a similar role, and be familiar with Jira and the IBM WebSphere platform.
