We have an exciting opportunity for a Category Assistant to join our Buying team at Head Office. The role of Category Assistant ensures that the administration of the category is delivered accurately to ensure support functions and stores can deliver excellence to our customers through 100% accuracy.
Key responsibilities of the role will include supporting the category to improve commercial performance through accurate reporting, forecasting and analysis of information as well as raising invoices, preparing information for Supplier meetings and briefs and administrate the NPD process.
The successful individual will have good communication skills to develop effective business networks to establish influential relationships with managers, peers and customers.
- Previous experience in a similar Buying/ Administration position
- Strong administrative and communication skills
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- IT literate
