A rare opportunity has arisen at XPO Logistics for a Marketing Manager to work alongside our Business Development team at our head office in Northampton.
As our Marketing Manager, you will report to the Head of Bid Management and manage all tactical marketing activities for the Business Development Team within Supply Chain for the UK. You will play a key role in helping to support the growth of our business development pipeline.
The successful candidate will oversee the UK marketing budget and join us in developing the marketing strategy for the Supply Chain Team here in the UK. You`ll monitor the budget and provide input by comparing and analysing previous year spending. Co-ordinating marketing campaigns and conducting research on competitors, customers and markets, you will monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications for the UK. In addition, you will identify target sector sales materials to assist the business development team in actively selling including sales material, presentation material, video production, photography and event stands.
Who are we looking for? A self-motivated and talented individual with experience in designing and managing tactical marketing. You will ideally be knowledgeable in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Suite CS6 (to Intermediate Level) and Photoshop. You`ll also be advanced when it comes to Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and have the ability to put a presentation together from scratch!!
