Our client have an exciting role for a Apprentice Business Development Assistant to join their Sales and Marketing Department.

Apprenticeship ProgrammeAs well as entering full-time employment, you will undertake a work based Business Admin Apprenticeship with YouTrain.

YouTrain are a leading Scottish Apprenticeship Provider, who specialise in a range of Apprenticeships.

YouTrain’s Business Admin Apprenticeship involves working towards a nationally recognised SVQ award and also various Microsoft Office Specialist certifications including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

The Role

As an Apprentice you will be a key member of the Business Development and Marketing team. You will play an important supporting role in the firm's business development activity.

This role has a strong administrative element and will involve supporting on a combination of on-going business development activities and one-off projects.

Core Tasks and Duties will include:

·Assisting with booking rooms (internally and externally) for events

·Issuing invitations, reminders and confirmations for events and seminars

·Helping with branding, generation of badges and printing packs for seminars

·Assisting with event research and organisation

·Arranging couriers to deliver and return pop-up banners and any marketing materials to external events, seminars and sponsorship

·Creation of teamsheets, invitations, e-bulletins and credentials documents

·Branding word documents for client distribution

·Administrative updates on the CRM database

·Good attention to detail

·Good communication skills both written and verbal

·Flexible and proactive approach to work dutiesPrioritisation, time management and organisational skills

·Good skills in the use of Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel

·Willingness to enhance IT literacy through training, if appropriate
