The Franchising Manager is the professional owner of franchising within the Dyno organisation. They are responsible for the businesses franchising infrastructure, network shape and model business. Through defining, developing and managing a network laddering and improvement strategy they will drive incremental gains in franchisee and franchisor capability, performance and profit.
You will own the ‘Dyno Franchise Model’ lifecycle. This includes being responsible for the Dyno Franchise Agreement, its issuing, renewal, storage and termination. This role will work collaboratively with the business to constantly define and review the ‘model Dyno franchisee’. You will also support the Head of Franchising in owning, constantly evaluating and re-defining the Dyno franchising ‘Terms of Trade’ and required standards, keeping them fit for purpose and inline with the Dyno and British Gas strategy. Use the Franchising team to support changes and amendments to these terms of trade.
You will use performance data and the framework of the existing business strategy create, approve, drive and deliver the churn and laddering strategy for the Dyno franchise network and you must programme manage the exit and entry of new franchisees to and from the Dyno network including identification, recruitment and induction to increase the profitability and operational performance of the Dyno business.
You will support the development of initiatives to ensure continual improvement within the franchise network spanning process, business growth, business efficiencies, cross departmental working and ensure compliance to all regulatory and best practice methodologies as determined by Dyno/BG.
You must manage operational and regulatory risks, escalating as appropriate and ensure information systems are operated to the required standard to maintain accurate and secure records. You will manage the development and performance of the Franchising team and ensure the team understand and adhere to the company and department standards, policies and procedures.
Please note this is not a recruiting franchisee role even though there may be some elements of these skills required. We require someone who is truly commercial and can show evidence of running a network, developing commercial agreements/manuals and legal frameworks. You must be able to manage strong relationships with your network including the BFA, franchising contacts and business relationships.

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 plus £5,100 car allowance, bonus and benefits
