Working as part of the product team you will need to understand the TUI customer across the various source markets in order to maximise revenue, margin and customer satisfaction.
This is an exciting time to be joining TUI as we insource a number of retail services from external suppliers and build a world-class inflight retail organisation. To achieve this we will expect you to immerse yourself into the buying habits across the multiple European markets that form our customer base.
You will be expected to use your retail buying experience and adapt this for the challenging travel retail environment where space is highly constrained and product cannot be merchandised in a conventional manner. You will also be expected to drive advertising revenues from key suppliers and work with the marketing team to develop brochure layouts. You will also have interaction with the source market operational teams who will look to you for support in engaging our cabin crew, by providing sample products and supplier support at training and engagement events.
As part of the product team you will work closely with your senior category manager, other category managers and the head of product to develop promotional plans to drive incremental sales and margin in all source markets. You will be expected to be an effective administrator of your own products and vendors, compiling and managing product data with great attention to detail in a timely fashion.
