Brand Manager (maternity cover) - Whittlesey

We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading independent fitness equipment suppliers. My client is looking for a highly motivated commercial Brand Manager to drive forward their health club locker, changing room and interiors division!

Key duties to involve:

  • Management of Key Accounts and individual clients.
  • Preparing quotations and presenting plans and images to customers.
  • Liaising with Suppliers and clients to ensure flawless execution of projects.
  • Conduct Site Surveys to enable drawings to be prepared by our team of designers/architects based in Italy.
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Scheduling of projects and communicating with the installation teams.
  • Liaising with marketing department to ensure brand profile and lead generation.
  • New product sourcing for interior furniture etc.
  • Attend occasional shows and exhibitions to showcase and promote the products and brand.
  • Achieve sales targets whilst ensuring close management of costs.

About the candidate:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Well organised, strong administratively with a good eye for detail.
  • A positive bright personality with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Experience of Microsoft Office systems including Word and Excel.
  • Project and CAD would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Competent use of internet and e-mail system.
  • Ability to manage own workload.
  • Can think clearly under pressure, multi task and work with minimal direction.

My client distributes beautifully designed, high end Italian lockers, reception counters vanity units and health club furniture. Their clients include David Lloyd, Virgin Active, Sports Direct, Bannatynes, Fit4Less, Village Leisure and may other prestigious customers.

The department has experienced significant growth over the past few months and 2017 is set to be an incredibly exciting year.

You will be working closely with the Managing Director on new business, as well as your own team of installers and office support team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity.
