One of the UK’s biggest brands is looking for a Consumer Insights Manager.

You probably know us best for Carlsberg and Carlsberg Export, but there's more to us than meets the eye. We also import premium world beers like Mahou and Poretti and have an impressive portfolio of cask ales. This pivotal role will act as a champion for providing Brand insights to customers, and consumer insights for the development of innovations that identify growth opportunities in order to gain commercial advantage. The Consumer Insights Manager will lead consumer insights with internal teams to develop customer presentations, brand recommendations and support innovation plans.

Key accountabilities include developing the consumer Insights plan to help Carlsberg UK deliver commercial goals, consumer needs, brand aspirations and innovation plans. The role will ensure that the consumer is at the heart of the innovation and brand plans to fully reflect the needs of the business and the priorities of the various channels.

The ideal candidate will be able to ensure the quality of consumer insights and related brand needs exceeds, ‘industry comparable’ standards and ‘best practice’ and the needs of key stakeholders. They will work with external research agencies to ensure they fully meet the needs of Carlsberg UK through the quality of its systems and information as well as working with key stakeholders across the business to ensure that the consumer insights learnings are helping drive the commercial success, innovation pipeline and category forward. Internal and external stakeholder management is vital to the roles success. We are also hoping the candidate has prior experience within the FMCG/drinks industry sectors.

If you have prior experience of consumer insights, ideally with a related qualification or degree, great attention to detail, strong stakeholder management skills and a passion for what you do, then this could be the role for you.
