SEN Teaching Assistant position located in Nottingham

  • Long Term, Full-Time role starting In December
  • 'Good' graded primary school
  • Earn up to £300 per week
  • Working 1:1 with children or in small groups
  • Prior experience or a passion for working with SEN children essential

To be considered for this role you must be both patient and adaptable, with a real passion for working with and supporting young children. This Nottingham Primary school are looking for a graduate who is able to display a natural aptitude for supporting children with additional needs, preferably with some previous experience of working with children but not necessarily within a classroom setting. The ability to empathise with your pupils will underpin your success in this role; you will consistently model a fantastic example to the young people you support.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting the teaching and learning of pupils with SEN and will be working with a number of children across this inclusive and vibrant school. You will be working with pupils with a range of needs or perhaps those who have fallen behind the expectations of their year group. A major part of the SEN Teaching Assistant role will be to support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs but you will provided with excellent support from the school SENCO to guide your progress with the children you support.
