Director of Customer Experience and Product Development, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, £six figure + executive benefits package

NRG Executive has been retained to recruit a Director of Customer Experience and Product Development for a major, private sector B2C, multi-channel retail business supplying the UK market.

The role will own the customer proposition and new product development. Your team will work throughout the business to deliver an exceptional customer experience and to design the products of the future.

Skills and Experience

Leadership and soft skills:

·Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a strong strategic and business mindset.

·Excellent organisational and leadership skills in context of change and transformation.

·Outstanding communication, interpersonal abilities and relationship building skills.

·Experience of working in a large, multi-site, multi channel business with a corporate management culture.

·Strong stakeholder management and team leadership experience.



·Proven experience as a Director of Customer Experience or similar managerial role.

·Experience of the Retail/Digital sectors in a B2C setting.

·Experience of high volume sales and E-Commerce.

·Able to evidence developing new products and bringing them to market quickly.

·Experience of operating in a high tempo, customer service driven business led by real time MI and pricing.

·Experience of high volume sales within customer centric branded businesses.


·Interviews pre-Christmas.

·Start date Quarter 1 or 2 2018.
