Senior Collections Analyst

The Organisation

My client, a leading name within the retail sector, seeks a Senior Collections Analyst to join their expanding Financial Services Department. With significant investment and growth plans in place, my client is expecting enhanced demand for it's financial services products and therefore needs an experienced Collections Analyst to ensure that any recoveries are correctly managed.

The Role

This role is well suited to someone currently working within a financial services Collections department, either as a Collections/Senior Collections Analyst, who is looking to make the next step in their career and take on additional responsibilities such as mentoring junior members of staff.

On a day to day basis you'll be managing my client's payment arrangement debtor book, looking to optimise the processes used provide solutions for customers having problems making repayments. You'll be analysing large volumes of customer data, running queries and producing reports from a number of data sources using either SQL or SAS, so it's important you have prior experience doing this.

The Benefits

In return for your experience and skills, my client is able to offer a base salary of up to £35,000 per annum, in addition to a generous benefits package that includes annual profit share, the ability to buy additional holidays, and an excellent employee discount scheme. Beyond this, progression opportunities within the business are good - particularly with the investment being made in to this team.

Essential skills/experience:

- Experience working in a financial-risk department, in either a Collections/Credit role
- Strong excel skills (advanced user)
- Good knowledge of SQL or SAS
