A 4 form entry infant school in South West London are seeking a creative and dynamic EYFS teacher to join their team. The role is to start ASAP and will initially be for 2 terms, to cover maternity leave. There is a potential for a permanent role to become available the following academic year.

You will be teaching a class of 30 mixed ability pupils. It is important that you are able to plan a stimulating and interesting curriculum that appeals to all learners, of varying educational abilities. You must also be able to make use of all educational resources, as the school emphasise the importance of outdoor, as well as classroom based, learning.

You will be joining a very reputable school, which was recently rated as ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED. You will be supported by a strong foundation phase leader and a highly supportive senior leadership team, as well as 3 co-teachers, who you will share planning with. The school are very committed to high quality teaching, and heavily invest in staff by offering ongoing training and opportunities for continued professional development. The school prides itself on its culture of community and respect, and pupil behaviour is excellent.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, we require the following skills:

  • Familiarity with the EYFS National Curriculum
  • Strong at teaching Phonics
  • Qualified Teacher Status (either PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Commitment to ensuring that all pupils achieve their full potential

Day to Day Supply Opportunities
