Position Overview

Interserve are currently recruiting for a CAD/Helpdesk Operator to effectively respond to the needs of the client, ensuring activities are delivered in a professional and efficient manner. We are offering a competitive salary, 25 days holidays as well as retail discounts.


  • Provision of Service with the Central Helpdesk
  • Receive and process requests for services
  • Instruct and liaison with service providers
  • Maintain Helpdesk database, paying particular attention to the closure of work requests
  • Monitor service delivery in relation to SLA and contract requirements
  • Provide management information relating to Helpdesk Services
  • Undertake customer/client satisfaction checks
  • Receive and process contract specific requirement, e.g. car passes, room bookings, lost property, etc
  • Provision of service in accordance with Contract procedures
  • Provision of service in accordance with H&S Procedures
  • Undertake any other reasonable duty as directed by the appropriate line manager
  • Responsible for Space Planning and Auto Cad
  • Produce accurate reports and documentation as required
  • Carry out general administrative duties
  • Liaise with the compliance team in booking of training and updating of first aid data base

What we are looking for

Education / Qualifications / Training

  • Tele-communication experience
  • Suitable design qualification or experience working within a similar role
  • Use of CAD software
  • IOSH Working Safely

Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous Helpdesk experience
  • Previous experience in Government Services
  • Previous experience in an office based environment
  • Previous role in a H&S discipline
  • Understands financial implications
  • Working with 2D CAD drawings

Skills &Abilities

  • Excellent customer care
  • Prioritisation of workload
  • Meeting tight deadlines
