TPP are proud to be partnering with a leading disability charity to recruit for a Legacy Officer. The charity is at the forefront of campaigns to break down barriers people with disabilities face, and aims to achieve everyday equality for them.The RoleYou will work closely with the Legacy Manager to develop and maintain a pipeline of legacy prospects and pledges. The role will have a major focus on maximising legacy relationships both internally and externally. You will be expected to story tell the charities work and communicate this in an engaging way to existing and potential supporters. You will also project manage the annual legacy week internal campaign, developing new materials and working closing with the legacy marketing staff. Finally, you will ensure there is sound digital legacy presence, which feeds into the charities legacy marketing work.Person SpecificationYou do not need to have prior legacy experience (full training will be given) or charity experience although this will help. You will be required to have excellent relationship building skills. Given the nature of the role, you will need to be able to demonstrate empathy and compassion when working with donors. You will possess excellent communication skills, oral and written, in order to convey the message of the charity.
