You will develop and support key information management reporting systems to enable the successful exploitation and reporting on of our key business data. This data will be sourced from operational systems and from 3rd parties. The Business Intelligence Developer will contribute to the architectural strategy for the BI platforms and solutions. The role is vital in moving the company forward in terms of its capability and maturity in using information management systems Knowledge & previous experience You will have a passion for working with data and for building data analysis solutions that solve real world business problems. You will have: Strong expertise in data analysis Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts Strong SQL and T-SQL knowledge Experience of using several programming languages e.g. C# Experience of ETL and best practice principles behind taking various data sources and loading into a data warehouse Familiarity of working within an agile, Scrum environment Working knowledge of data warehouse front-end tools e.g. SAP Business Objects Working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems Working knowledge of working with RESTful API’s Knowledge of cloud platforms, features, and capabilities, preferably Amazon, Redshift, AWS Glue etc Appreciation of Big Data, Machine Learning and AI features and capabilities You may not have all the above skills yet; applications are welcome from candidates who have some of the skills requirements.
