Senior Service Desk Engineer (ITIL Certification) Location: Bristol. Near M32 Salary and benefits: £30-35,000 + 5% Pension. Please note that the role does NOT come with man-management responsibilities. Preference will be given to candidates with ITIL Certification. All applicants must be comfortable with travel being part of the role. Travel within the UK and internationally can be expected. Senior Service Desk Engineer - Key Skills: - ITIL Certification - Must be an ITIL Practitioner. - Experience within a similar role. - Strong customer service. - Must have a full UK driving license and a vehicle. - Must be happy with national and some international travel. - Must be eligible to work in the UK. About the Role: Your main responsibilities as a Senior Service Desk Engineer will be: - Coordinating timely resolution of Incidents/Events/Problems logged in our reporting tool (Remedy) so that service levels are not breached. - Organising weekly Scrum meetings. - Customer liaison. - Provisioning of ICT technical support service including operating systems (Windows & Linux), RDBS (primarily SQL Server), 3rd party software (primarily VMware), proprietary software and networks (LAN/WAN). - Supporting the production of reports and necessary documentation for administration and invoicing purposes.
