We are currently recruiting for a Lecturer in Sport, with a demonstrable record of high rates of student achievement and a passion for ensuring student success, to drive our continued success in providing a high-quality teaching and learning experience, across a range of programmes.

As an ambitious Lecturer, you will ensure that Sports programmes contribute fully towards the excellent achievement and retention rates and the sustained growth of the Division. You will work closely with the Division, to enhance the student experience and ensure that students are actively engaged in all aspects of delivery, within the Division and across College.

As a Lecturer, you will teach, relevant to subject specialism, up to 832 hours per year.

With a PGCE or Certificate in Education and a relevant degree in Sports Science, you will also possess detailed knowledge of current sixth form Sport/Sport Science specifications (including BTEC) and knowledge of Sports Science including Nutrition, Physiology and/or Sports Psychology. You will have the ability to display excellent teaching skills and experience of teaching up to level three. It would preferably if you dralso has a recognised qualification or accreditation within the area of Strength and Conditioning, but this is not essential.
