My client is a commercially orientated charity based in Central London. They are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for the ownership of your assigned business area and have a full understanding of the income and end to end data flow on a monthly basis. You will be responsible for developing Management Information (MI) reporting models such as recognising opportunities and challenges which have been conducted from thorough data analysis. Furthermore, you will work closely with senior management by providing monthly commentary that highlights key financial issues, identifying opportunities and challenges and developing MI reporting models. You will also be heavily involved with the budgeting and forecasting process which will involve working closely with Senior Managers and Finance Business Partners. You will be responsible for being the finance team's point of contact, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure the output of MI work leads to more informed decision making.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, it is essential to be a part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) accountant who is actively working towards becoming fully qualified. It is essential to have experience of building efficient working relationships with senior stakeholders and also have been heavily involved in the budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting within a medium to large organisation. Advanced Excel skills are also essential.
What you'll get in return
