An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Applications IT Shift Service Desk Agent to work within my client's IT service desk division responsible for the management, order and distribution of software, hardware and mobile devices and also for ensuring a high level of customer service for the current corporate estates with more than 1000 desktops, 4000 + laptops, 500+ Mobile phones and more than 1800 smart devices with more than 4000 monthly requests. Providing 1st and 2nd Line technical support the IT Service Desk Agent will be responsible for providing customer support via phone, email and drop-in visits into the Service Desk maintaining a high degree of customer service at all times. About the job: They currently require the services of an IT service desk agent. This role includes: - PLEASE BE AWARE THIS IS A 4 DAY ON 4 DAY OFF SHIFT PATTERN - 12 HOURS INCLUDING NIGHT WORK. * Managing all calls via IT logging system relating to the company support of all software and hardware in a dynamic operational environment. * Managing and being responsible for Software license management including ordering and distribution of new software and licenses. * Flexible - ability to work a 24*7*365 shift with potential requirements for shift change at short notice * Providing technical expertise and allocating technical calls to the relevant resolver group and escalating when is necessary . * Build relationships with key stakeholders and customers About you: Experience and Qualifications Essential * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to work in a 24/7/365 shift pattern. * Proven experience of working in a busy Service Desk environment * Understanding of Active Directory , Networking , mobile telephony and smart devices Desirable Qualifications * Proven experience in Windows XP/Win 7/iOS Operating Systems (Windows 10 desirable) Minimum of ITIL Foundation V3 certification * Minimum of CompTIA A+ qualification Role: IT Service Desk Agent (Shift) Location: Aldershot, North Hampshire Salary: Up to £25K + Excellent benefits Keywords: ITIL, CompTIA A+, helpdesk, service desk, network, software, hardware, 1st support, technical support ,Microsoft, SLM ,license.
