About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Appointment Generator to join our Red Cross Training team in Salford.
As an Appointment Generator, you will help ensure that British Red Cross Training remains a market leader in the provision of first aid training by setting up customer facing appointments for new business managers.
The post holder will maximise outbound calling opportunities, contacting prospective customers and decision makers from leads sourced through collaboration and cross-functional working with education-marketing teams. You will convert customer leads into appointments for new business managers, and schedule and co-ordinate new business managers diaries within specified areas, ensuring that there is availability to meet appointment demands.
The new business sector is a significant growth target area for RCT, and you will play an important role in helping us reach this.

About the person
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate the below skills and experience:
- Outbound telephone sales
- Experience working in a target driven environment, ideally within a similar appointment generating role.
- IT literate, particularly in relation to Microsoft applications (including Office) and Customer Relationship Management Systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an engaging telephone manner.
- Self motivated and driven to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
