Position: UK Volunteering & Community Partnerships Manager (Communities)
Location: Bromsgrove or Salford
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: circa £33,000 per annum

About The Role:

They are looking for a determined and passionate individual to join their Volunteering team as a Programme Manager. As a key strategic role reporting to the Head of Volunteering & Community Development, you will lead, shape and support the infrastructure of community volunteering, including their stroke ambassadors and network of voluntary peer support groups for people living with the impact of stroke.

Following investment from the Big Lottery they have a 4 year programme you will manage to scale their peer support across the UK, strengthen their existing network and improve the sustainability of the support available to everyone affected by stroke locally.

A key part of the role will require working with internal and external stakeholders, working across the organisation with their workforce of staff and volunteers and most importantly those affected by stroke.

About You:

You will have a proven track record of developing and delivering volunteering projects and programmes and demonstrable experience of working with volunteers, volunteer managers, and inspiring and motivating others through change at scale. Strong knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office programmes and excellent communication are essential skills. There is also a requirement to work flexibly and travel to fulfil the role.
