Main Pay Scale/Post Threshold Pay Scale for Outer London, depending on experience.

Starting date: February/March 2018 or April also considered

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and dynamic teacher of Design and Technology to join the team whilst our colleague is on maternity leave. You will be a key member of the department where colleagues work closely together to share good practice, develop the resources and support each other and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Applications from either newly qualified or experienced teachers are welcome. Ideally we are looking for a full time teacher, however will consider applications from those who are seeking a part-time post (approximately 0.7FTE).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our school as we build upon our success with excellent results at GCSE and A level, both of which contributed to us being awarded ‘Comprehensive School of the Year 2016’ by The Sunday Times.

The school is also entering a new stage of development and joining a MAT with 3 other local secondary schools, this will bring opportunities to collaborate and share best practice.

The attached pack includes the job description and person specification as well as information about the school and the department. We will use the person specification as the basis for selection for interview.

Applications will be reviewed when received, and interviews will be arranged accordingly.

The Waldegrave Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students; we expect all staff to share this commitment and an enhanced DBS disclosure will be sought.

Only applications submitted on the school’s application form will be considered.
