eCommerce Manager (Jacamo)

To help us deliver this proposition we are looking for a motivated, experienced and innovative eCommerce manager who will drive our online business, ensuring it has strong traction with our current and future customers, delivering a best in class shopping experience, whilst also shaping and developing the ecommerce strategy and disciplines to drive today’s trade and tomorrow’s roadmap. As the eCommerce Manager, your duties will be to: Create and manage the eCommerce strategy across all devices, including testing and optimisation strategies to maximise the conversion rate of new and existing customers, working closely with the customer experience team. Being proactive in driving the online sales across the Jacamo, High and Mighty and Home Essentials websites, working to forecasts and hitting and exceeding core eCommerce KPIs of conversion, Average Value Order and demand Manage the in-season trading of products online, launching new phases of products, managing in-season trading and sales, driving improvements in category bounce rate and conversion and optimising the product offer for core customer groups and business targets. Manage and leading on delivering the best online shopping experience possible working closely with the CRM team leads to optimise the online performance of prospects, new and existing customers, cash and credit, to deliver against customer performance goals such as demand per account and response rate. Develop and deliver an effective ‘test and learn’ approach using multi variant testing software (e.g. Monetate or Rich Relevance) to test different online experiences including look and feel, functionality and product preferences and recommendations to drive improved online customer performance and a better customer shopping experience, working closely with the customer experience team. Identify and understand opportunities to improve our performance in the market by watching competitors, identify emerging technologies, developments and innovations, strategies and inform and look to champion these as appropriate. Recruit, train, develop and motivate the team to delivery their objectives, helping to establish strategies, identify opportunities, seek out efficiencies and deliver the team objectives and return on investment. What the successful eCommerce Manager will need to succeed: Previous experience within a similar eCommerce role within the retail ideally with a focus on fashion High level of commercial acumen with a retailing focus Digitally literate with strength in user experience and personalisation via multiples devices, with a focus on mobile Full understanding of all aspects of marketing and strong cognition of business structure and strategy. An awareness, or understanding of, P&L experience Experienced in leading digital and ecommerce teams, with a clear results focus, excited by change and innovation. Strong analytical, profiling, financial planning, campaign and project management skillset High level of passion and enthusiasm in communications across a variety of media Positive and enthusiastic leader with high energy who can work collaboratively and develop teams A stronger leader and influencer with the ability to develop a team and build relationships with key stakeholders. In return, the eCommerce Manager will receive a salary of up to £40,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.
