The British Heart Foundation (BHF) will be part of an exciting transformational new 5-year partnership that will work to improve the health of the UK by encouraging positive lifestyle changes at work and at home.

We’re teaming up with Tesco, Diabetes UK and Cancer Research UK to tackle some of the UK’s biggest killers – heart and circulatory disease, cancer and Type 2 diabetes. The 5-year partnership, ‘little helps to healthier lives’, will build on the enormous success of our work through the National Charity Partnership.

About the role

This specialist new role is responsible for the management, development and retention of the BHF’s ground-breaking, multi-million pound flagship partnership with Tesco, one of the UK’s biggest retailers. It is an opportunity to work alongside sector leading teams and health experts to affect lasting change through one of the UK's most ambitious and exciting charitable partnerships.

Reporting into the Head of Corporate Partnerships, the Partnership Specialist will drive maximum impact and value potential for both the charity and partner, working closely with key stakeholders to raise awareness and funds in support of lowering the nation’s risk of heart and circulatory disease. You'll be accountable for raising income through the partnership, strategy development, budget setting, meeting agreed partnership objectives and KPIs, and reporting back to the partner and BHF. In addition you'll act as liaison between key senior stakeholders at Tesco and at the BHF.

About you

The successful candidate will have experience delivering high value multi-year partnerships in either a charity or commercial sales environment, consistently exceeding targets.

You'll have advanced knowledge and understanding of partnerships in the corporate and voluntary sectors. With excellent interpersonal and listening skills you'll have the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with senior stakeholders in a complex environment. To be successful in the role you will have passion, gravitas and ambition.
