Experienced Paraplanner - Wealth Management Salary: £23,000 to £28,000 depending on qualifications and experience (plus ad hoc discretionary bonuses may be paid - 2 were paid during 2017) Free membership to Perkpox and 5% employer pension contribution Our client is a well-established, privately owned Financial Management company providing bespoke Wealth Management Services including Discretionary Investment Portfolios and Pensions advice. A sister company produces Lasting Powers of Attorney, Wills, Probate Administration and Trusts as well as personal and trust & estates tax returns, offering clients a complete in-house service. This provides a unique selling point. The company's administration team and paraplanners provide full back office support along with marketing and compliance assistance. The company is embarking on a succession plan to prepare for when the owner semi-retires and this offers an excellent opportunity for new staff joining the company. The Role: Researching solutions for Retirement, Protection, Inheritance Tax & Investment Planning Analysing and presenting data and results, liaising with providers for information File ownership to ensure all tasks are completed to given deadlines Preparation of suitability reports, illustrations and all documents to process new business Working closely with Consultants & Administration to ensure comprehensive file notes are prepared and followed by all staff involved Preparation of sign up appointment file and all documents required Manage and prioritise the Consultants work Liaise with clients throughout the investment process Attention to detail, good team member and flexibility Successful applicants will have at least 3 years' experience working in a Paraplanner role and will be qualified to (or working towards) Diploma Level 4. Further development is available should you wish to take advantage of it. The majority of general admin functions such as meeting preparations, valuations etc. are dealt with by the admin team but you may be called on to assist during busy periods.
