Desktop Support Engineer
Are you a skilled Desktop Support Engineer who can use remote tools to fix an array of hardware and application issues? Do you have the Customer and Service Desk skills to be able to handle a large volume of calls with varying degree of complexity within set time-frames? A Local Authority based in Maidstone is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to deliver a first line ICT support for its staff. Using remote desktop tools, You will diagnose and remedy the issue or escalate to a Deskside Engineer. You must have worked on an IT Service Desk for at least one year dealing with 1st/2nd Line support calls and have a demonstrable knowledge of MS systems, MS office products, Active Directory, building laptops from images, setting up new accounts etc. This is an immediate requirement, if you have the skills and experience detailed above please do not hesitate to apply.
