Senior Network / WINTEL Engineer - Stone - £DOE Our client, an industry leading systems integration business with presence in the Transmission & Distribution, Power & Utilities, Nuclear and industrial sectors are now looking for an experienced Network / Wintel Engineer to join their team and assist with systems architecture, specifications, configuraions and recommendations of hardware and software. You will be working in a busy project team and to tight customer deadlines. The position is based in their Stone office and is easily commutable from Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Crewe, Telford, Uttoxeter, Wolverhmpton and Cannock. The Salary on offer is dependant upon your experience and falls towards the top end of the industry standard for the local area. Skills and experience ideally required: Engineering / Computer related or appropriate engineering qualification (degree/HND) or comparable industrial experience CCNA qualification or equivalent experience WINTEL 5 years' experience in implementing a Windows Active Directory environment Configuration of Cisco ASA, Palo Alto and other market leading firewalls Experience with VMWare vSphere, Hyper-V and virtualisation technologies Knowledge of industry leading SIEM solutions (i.E. Solarwinds, LogRhythm, CyberX) Implementation of antivirus and whitelisting applications Ability to vulnerability asses a system to identify security risks vLAN's & Network Security Server 2012 Good client facing skills, must be able to work as part of combined client/contractor team Willingness to travel and work away when required Must be UK Security Cleared or have the ability to become so Desirable Skills: Supervision / Mentoring skills (advantageous but not essential) Experience of working in the Nuclear Industry Driving licence Personal Attributes: Confident and capable and able to work under own initiative Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines Used to working within a Quality Management System with the associated level of detail/accuracy Have good communication skills Be flexible in working methods I'm currently in the process of shortlisting candidates don't miss out and apply now!
