PR and Content Management Professional Benefits: Performance related bonus, 1 pay reviews per annum and up to 33 days paid holiday Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm. Location: Based at our Head Office, South Manchester, M22 4SY The Role An exciting opportunity for a proactive, creative and results-driven PR and content manager to join the Marketing team. You’ll work closely with different departments across the business to source positive or interesting news to build our on and offline brand reputation and awareness within our SME customer base and wider business environment. The ideal candidate will have experience of developing multi-channel PR campaigns online including SEO, blogging and content management experience and offline with traditional media, with strong press contacts. Brand reputation management via SEO optimisation, content, Trustpilot and Google would be helpful. Strong copywriting skills are a must for press releases, online blogs, content including social media and to support the Marketing Services area with internal communications, sales copy and headlines for flyers, letters, brochures and other collateral. We are looking for a highly personable, persuasive, innovative individual to develop the role and make it their own. Confidence, a “can-do” and get it done attitude is a must! Main Purpose of the Role: To oversee the implementation and execution of agreed Brand Reputation and PR campaigns and online content with identified KPIs to key audiences for kinex, Clear Business and Verastar, monitoring and reporting on performance. Responsibilities Supporting CMO in planning overall Marketing and PR and social media strategy and making proactive proposals Working with key stakeholders across the business to proactively source and check news, facts or any other newsworthy business activity to promote to key audiences such as SMEs. Establishing a process to ensure all latest product developments or company news is identified or promoted. Regular and timely reporting on all activity against agreed KPIs Owning and implementing all agreed actions such as blogging and content management, increasing positive Trustpilot scores, supporting the management of customer service responses within the Brand Reputation initiative. Maintaining and developing existing social media platforms for all brands including owning and developing the targeting, approach and content on Twitter, Linked In, Facebook Specifically developing a Clear Business Broker LinkedIn group. Identifying and overseeing applications for Events and Awards relevant to supporting the kinex and Clear Business brands Identifying, targeting and liaising with key journalists/bloggers on specific titles Sourcing and compiling and promoting customer Case Studies to support sales and PR Working closely and collaboratively with Marketing Services to create effective copy alongside creative for all direct response Marketing and other activity Act as a “Brand Ambassador” and professional representative of the Marketing team both within the business and with customers, external contacts and suppliers. As and when required perform ad hoc other responsibilities or projects within the company Skills and Experience Required The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: 2+ years’ experience within a PR role with demonstrable success. Experience of Brand Reputation management including online with SEO, blogging experience Strong verbal, copywriting and sales copy skills ideally within the B2B market with demonstrable experience of writing effective releases Strong attention to detail especially in relation to compliance within our industries Skilled networker with the ability to liaise at all levels both internally and externally and develop contacts Ability to follow up news stories to ensure maximum coverage Self-motivated, ability to work under pressure and on own initiative The ideal candidate will have a strong character and be comfortable dealing with people at all levels. They must have a “can do” attitude and be able to think creatively to overcome challenges and drive campaigns forward.
