An exciting opportunity has arisen for a crane service engineer on a permanent basis for an award winning PM Crane Supplier. We are looking for a candidate who is looking either to move their career to this established company or begin a new career in engineering. As a service engineer you will have the following responsibilities: Before Training Carry out basic crane repairs as instructed Attend training courses and complete/ pass the course To be on time & professional at customer sites Completing paperwork efficiently and accurately To work to and adhere all Health and Safety procedures to protect themselves and colleagues After training is completed Carry out LOLER inspections through thorough examination and testing Carry out hydraulic repairs / Carry out electrical repairs / Carry out welding repairs A successful candidate will have the following: Extensive experience in service engineering- cranes/ lifting experience would be beneficial Engineering qualifications or trainee experience in hydraulics/ electrics or commercial vehicles Two work references must be provided and verified before any offer of employment is given Benefits of working as a crane service engineer for this company: Fully kitted out company van Christmas bonus scheme (attendance based) Smart phone Company credit card Full training provided Hours of work: Hours are varied throughout the week. Candidates must be willing to work up to 50/60 hours a week during busy times Candidates must be available for early starts sometimes being on site for 6am Candidates must be prepared to work 3/4 Saturday mornings Rate of pay: Rate of pay is dependent on experience.
