Agile Project Manager - Agile, Certified Scrum master ***Preferred location would be Cambridge, however the client may consider London*** Our client is an exciting start-up company, founded 5 years ago. They have designed and built a new product, which has grown rapidly and is now being used globally. Due to their growth, they are now looking for Agile Project Manager to join their team in either Cambridge or London. As the successful candidate, you will be a commercially driven technical resource who will thrive from understanding the company as a whole and then work with their internal teams and external stakeholders to plan, lead, organise their project teams. You will liaise with all areas of the business to lead the next level in adoption of Agile and Scrum practices. Their product is in huge demand and they need to ensure that they are operating in a high quality and effective manner to exceed the expectations of future clients. Responsibilities will include: Partner the service delivery and engineering teams to analyse their current processes to create a roadmap of areas of improvement Lead training of Agile best practices with a positive and collaborative approach Use Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement across the business Know when to facilitate stand-ups, meetings and/or discussions as required to track progress, identify gaps or risks and to celebrate our successes Manage risks and remove any blockers while managing priorities to safeguard the teams from the requirements of our fast growing business REQUIREMENTS A degree in Maths, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree is an asset A Certified Scrum Master (CSM) would be an asset 3+ years of professional experiences in a business analyst or project manager role (internships count!) 2+ years of experience as an Agile Project Manager and/or Scrum master Previous experience working with MS programming languages such as, C# and others Comfort with public speaking and workshop facilitation Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast paced environment Proven ability to be organised and prioritise while leading others Strong conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills Effective leadership and coaching abilities with a can do attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair to express technical concepts in an everyday language Proven ability to influence key strategies Ability to identify strategic and operational process improvements in a collaborative way Experience working with a SaaS based product and/or in the insurance or start up environment is an asset Other information If this role is of interest to you or you would like more information, please contact Laura Waddy or submit your application now.
