Advertising Codes of Practice Assessor - Advertising and Labelling Regulation and Compliance This is a full time, permanent post based in High Holborn, Central London. The role involves some travel (for meetings and training). An opportunity for an advertising or compliance professional to develop a career with PAGB (Proprietary Association of Great Britain) - the UK trade association which represents the manufacturers of branded over-the-counter medicines, self-care medical devices and food supplements. PAGB's ambition is to shape the consumer healthcare market with effective self-regulation to promote best practice in the industry. The Codes of Practice Assessors are advisors that support the association's members to produce effective, responsible advertising. They offer advice on all aspects of advertising which is covered by PAGB's Codes and Guidelines liaising with members to ensure copy is responsible and not misleading, maintaining a fair and positive regulatory environment that encourages product innovation, and promoting the contribution that self-medication can make to people's health. The core role is centred on assessing, advising and approving advertising copy submissions, finding creative solutions in claims development and problem resolution, developing and delivering training. Our ideal applicant will be a graduate, with work experience gained in advertising, assessment, compliance or a similar regulated sector. Experience in a sales marketing environment for OTC medicines and/or food supplements would be an advantage. We are looking for a service orientated team player with a keen interest in advertising. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information persuasively and tactfully.
