SEN Teaching Assistant – Part time, Fridays only!

My client school in Haringey is recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work with them on a Part time basis. The Head teacher of this lovely 2 form entry school is keen to recruit a kind and caring individual to assist with the support of one of their pupils. This is a part time post and so would require the successful applicant to work Friday Mornings only!

POSITION: SEN Teaching Assistants required – 1:1 support – PART TIME Fridays only

SCHOOL: Haringey school – Friendly and welcoming team

LOCATION: Central London (Zone 2)

TRANSPORT: Excellent public transport links – short walk from an underground station Multiple bus routes

START: ASAP start - PART TIME – Fridays only

PAY: £70- £80 per day


This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and hardworking graduate to gain experience working with a child with Special Educational Needs. To be successfully shortlisted, you will be kind, caring and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in working with children with Special Educational needs. To be considered, you must have prior experience of supporting children with SEN. Degree holders or CACHE Level 3 holders required

This is a Part time position, with the successful applicant being asked to Fridays only,


The post will see you supporting a pupil 1:1. You must be confident and able to hit the ground running as your role is to support another SEN TA within a job share. You will work with the child 1:1 and will also support the class generally, so strength in literacy and numeracy is essential. If you are an aspiring teacher and you show potential, you may be selected for the School Direct programme within the school, with the opportunity to train on the job and to receive a salary whilst you train!


This is a supportive 2 form entry primary school within Central London (Zone 2). You will be joining a fantastic support team, led by an experienced SENCO. The school provides a bespoke training programme to both teachers and Support staff so you will really learn a lot here!
