This exceptional Primary School in Brixton, South East London eagerly requires a passionate, driven graduate to join their fantastic team as a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant. As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to an autistic child with communication difficulties. You will be working closely with the SENCO to help integrate the child in mainstream classes, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe and understand what they are learning.
This position is ideal for graduates looking to establish a career in Educational Psychology or for prospective teachers with an interest in SEN. The successful candidate must possess a solid academic background, achieving at least a 2:1 from a respected university. Any previous tutoring experience or experience of working with children with SEN is beneficial.
