An experienced Marketing Coordinator is sought by a leading affordable housing and public sector building services specialist.

The Role:

  • Work with the HBM, OD and external agencies to develop and then implement our Marketing Strategy, Marketing & Events Planner and individual campaigns as required.
  • Create awareness of and develop the company brand and range of services.
  • Identify, plan, coordinate and attend key industry and customer events and exhibitions.
  • Keep the company website fresh and up to date at all times. Ensure Search Engine Optimisation is effective and periodically reviewed.
  • Ensure all social media channels including Twitter and LinkedIn remain current and up to date.
  • Work closely with appointed external creative agencies to design marketing materials, photo shoots and promotional items as required.
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print use.
  • Produce creative content, including videos and online posts.
  • Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials.
  • Work with the Bid Coordinator to update and maintain the New Business Database.
  • Conduct market research as instructed by the HBM or OD to support business growth opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity.
  • Work with the HBM and wider Bid Team to develop pre-positioning strategies for all targeted (bid) opportunities.
  • Work with the regional operations teams to support retention and growth strategies for our existing customers.
  • Assist with the creation of internal and external presentations and coordinate support materials as required.
  • Coordinate, write and publish our quarterly internal Newsletter and monthly News & Update Bulletin.
  • Lead the development of the Company intranet site and oversee ongoing development and updates including the bid team pages.
  • Travel to meet clients and attend conferences, trade shows, industry events, and seminars as required.
  • Work closely with the HBM & OD on ad-hoc projects as required.

The successful Marketing Coordinator will demonstrate the following skills & experience:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Degree or HND in advertising, marketing or communications (desirable not essential).
  • CIM Certificate (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong awareness of digital media techniques.
  • Strong computer proficiency including the ability to use Abobe InDesign, Abobe Illustrator, CorelDraw or similar software to create Infographics and bid images.
  • Extensive marketing, Copywriting, social media and IT experience.


  • £28,000 - £35,000 salary depending on experience
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
