MacIntyre is an award winning national charity supporting people with learning disabilities. Our core belief is that everyone has potential, something to offer and a valuable contribution to make to their community.

We have vacancies for two part-time Learning Support Workers (24 hours per week) to join the friendly team at our Learning Centre in Warrington, where we support large groups of adults aged 18 to 80 with a range of learning disabilities, providing a wide variety of learning sessions.

This work is day shifts, Monday to Friday.

What we need from you

We are looking for a person with passion and enthusiasm to support within and to create/deliver sessions for groups of people within the Learning Centre. The sessions which we offer are: Arts, crafts, pottery, computers, Dance, Music, Sewing, Gardening, flower arranging, Relaxation and Yoga. Both posts are 24 hours working on a rota basis, 4 days a week Monday to Friday. For further information please contact Darren Briggs on 01925 558878.

Experience working with people who have learning disabilities is not necessary, as we provide a full induction and free training programme.

It is desireable for these positions that you hold a full manual driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK, as you can then drive service vehicles; But this is not essential.
