Our client is a supplier and distributor of market leading power supply products. They are looking for a Marketing Assistant on a fixed-term, full-time contract to cover maternity leave for six months.

The successful candidate will obtain a full handover from the existing member of staff and offered the opportunity of a permanent position subject to performance.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the sales team to discuss promotional campaigns
  • Update the website and manage online sales
  • Offer support to the Managing Director
  • Responsible for the delivery of marketing activity and dedicated campaigns across predominantly online channels
  • Key focus will be in uploading and updating product content and development of the company website
  • Schedule and implement social media activities accordingly across a variety of platforms
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign results, report and feedback on campaign success
  • Analyse and segment data for targeted campaigns
  • Brief on design projects and manage third party agency relationships
  • Prepare for exhibitions and events, arranging marketing collateral such as brochures and catalogues, promotional materials, etc.

Skills and experience required:

  • The successful candidate will have a Marketing degree or CIM qualification
  • Adobe Photoshop, In-Design and Illustrator
  • Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • The ability to confidently use Mailchimp and all Microsoft applications
  • Strong organisational skills
  • General understanding of Marketing and experience in B2B Marketing
  • Hardworking and a self-starter
  • Motivated to see tasks through to completion
  • Team player

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Salary and benefits:

  • £16,000 per annum
  • 20 days annual holiday
