Horizon Teachers is currently working with a Good Secondary School in the borough of Southwark that are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP.

Having been graded Good in their most recent Ofsted, it was stated that Leaders and governors have worked effectively to improve standards across the school since the last inspection. Teachers plan lessons well, considering the needs of pupils in their classes. Effective teaching supports good progress over time. Pupil's attendance and behaviour have improved considerably over time, and are now good. Leaders and staff have developed effective procedures that improve pupil's attitudes to school life and learning. The school's values of aspiration, integrity, exploration and resilience are evident around the school.'

The school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will be joining a team of strong teaching assistants whose ultimate role is to ensure that all children, regardless of ability, are given the same opportunities to learn and develop their own skills. Whether you are working 1:1 or with small groups, the school do all they can to ensure that students remain in their lessons and are included in the full curriculum of the school. They work together to address key areas for development and will always have the individual's best interests at heart.

- Experience in working with SEN children is desirable
- Experience supporting pupils at KS3 and KS4 is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills is essential
- Friendly and professional manor is essential
- Be flexible and proactive within your school day is essential
