This is a great opportunity for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join a Market Leading FTSE250 organisation. You will report directly to the Senior Technical Manager and will be responsible for partly maintaining the technical integrity of the companies core MI platform.

The Senior Business Intelligence Developer is a role requiring strong leadership and an ability to engage with all levels of the organisation. The role is highly technical in nature and is seen as a key mentoring role for more junior members of the team.

Main Duties:

+ Business Intelligence development of the MI Platform tool set using SSRS/SSAS/SSIS and SQL Server,TSQL
+ Develop change requests logged by client teams
+ Understanding and maintenance of business logic & rules associated with contract KPIs such as compliance, remedial tasks and practical application of this logic to the platforms ETL
+ Own and maintain the master data processes
+ Manage the KPIs and the risk / reward logic used by the companies largest contracts
+ Managing data import and hosting of multi-contract finance reporting
+ Responsible for the definition and execution of acquiring new data sources into the data warehouse.
+Overall responsibility for ensuring data integrity and ensuring true reflection of core system data sources.
+ Manage authorisation logic around the workflow provision
+ Contribute largely in the migration of the solution to their 2012 SQL environment

Key Skills:

+ 5+ years experience in working with complex data warehousing including extensive use of SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, MDX,Tableau, and SQL Server TSQL.
+ Experience with full Microsoft BI stack an advantage (incl Power BI).
+ 5+ years experience of people management specifically in the MI industry.
+ Articulate with the ability to present to a senior stakeholder level.
+ A working knowledge of current Business Intelligence trends and applications.
+ Experience working with 3rd parties in a development environment.
+ Experience of presenting to senior stakeholders, both internal and client-side.
+ Ability to coordinate multi-discipline teams toward a single goal.
+ Experience in SharePoint design and SharePoint Administration highly desirable and a clear advantage.
+ Highly analytical with a strong understanding of Management Information trends, methodologies and best practices.
+ Absolute eye for detail in terms of accuracy of information.
+ Ability to drive change and develop with customer & business needs.
