Do you have a strong analytical mind-set? Do you have experience in managing financial budgets, measuring and optimising marketing performance?If so, we’d love you to join our team!In this role you will be responsible for managing, optimising and reporting how we invest our marketing budget. The role will sit within the Performance team within Marketing (which sits in the Customer function of the business), and will work closely with the other Marketing functions, such as Acquisition, Growth, Brand and Marketing Services. The role will also have a close link into the Trading teams within the business, as well as our Finance teams also.The aim of this role is to help optimise and plan our Marketing investments, ensuring we are within budget and that all teams are aware of their current financial status. The role will help make decisions on our marketing mix and be able to articulate where we have made successes and failures in our investment. This is a pivotal role between the owners of the P&L, and will be well suited to someone strong with numbers and confidence in communications with stakeholders.You’ll be:
  • Responsible for helping to generate maximum returns from the Marketing investments
  • Working closely with each team within marketing to manage and help make decisions on our marketing budget
  • Liaising with Product and Financial teams within the business
  • Creating a more transparent and planned investment proposition
  • Centralising the investment and optimisation of the Marketing budget by implementing a hub and spoke model
  • Creating and analysing trackers, dashboards and reports to show investment performance and efficiencies
  • Developing your understanding of marketing channels and their efficiencies to deliver new and better value customers
  • Researching competitor performance and benchmarking vs our own
  • Building your knowledge of financial methodologies and sharing the wider Marketing team.

You’ll bring:

  • Numerical based degree such as Mathematics / Science / Economics
  • Experience with Excel is essential
  • Relentless drive and curiosity
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to model, forecast and evaluate
  • Strong communication skills, able to articulate numbers well
  • Commercial acumen and an interest in the Financial Services industry.
