We are seeking an experienced legal secretary to join our clients Family law/ Care department at their busy office in Nottingham. You will be required to provide efficient and timely secretarial and admin support to fee earners and Partners.
Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Handling complex and often urgent diary management.
  • Providing initial contact with a broad range of stakeholders on email and telephone.
  • Preparation of bundles and correspondence
  • Audio and copy typing of legal documentation and letters.
  • Preparation and chasing of billing/invoices
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors and third parties through email and over the phone.
  • Limited amount of reception work where necessary.
Experience and skills:
  • Previous experience in a legal office environment, particularly in Family and/or Care Law
  • Able to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Have a passion for achieving a high level of service to clients
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • Training will be given on our other systems.
