The Education Specialists (TES) are recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in the Rochdale area. The school has an excellent reputation within the local authority and high expectations of both its staff and pupils.
We are seeking experienced teaching assistants to work with pupils aged 4-11 on both a short term and long term basis. We require all teaching assistants to hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent, or have significant experience working in schools or in a similar role.
When attending a school on behalf of TES you may be required to work both on a 1:1 and group basis supporting the pupils in all aspects of school life.
This role will include various tasks such as;·Supporting individuals to complete set tasks within the classroom.·Promoting independence within the school environment.·Leading small groups under direction of the teacher.·Implementing behaviour strategies.·Working in partnership with teachers and other TA’s to provide a stable, positive environment for learning.·Supervising community activities with the pupils.
All individuals working on behalf of TES are required to hold an enhanced DBS and will be subject to safeguarding/vetting checks.
