Our client is a leading Contract Research Company specialising in pre-clinical cancer research. Working in collaboration with major, global pharmaceutical companies, they focus on the identification of novel cancer targets and optimal characterisation of a new generation of anti-cancer drugs.

The Role

The role of Study Coordinator is an office-based role, which sits within the Scientific Operations Team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the following tasks, but not excluded to:

  • Drafting of study protocols, reviewing client comments and editing where necessary. This will involve preparing reports, providing technical assistance and having the ability to troubleshoot problems to enable the successful delivery of projects, which often involves having to work to tight deadlines.
  • There will be a requirement for the post holder to be able to interact with staff both locally and globally inclusive of clients, in order to support the departmental goals, which have been agreed to legislative, industry and company quality standards.
  • The post holder should be confident in reviewing data and preparing updates accordingly.
The role is a Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.

The Person

We are ideally looking for a highly motivated individual with a good educational background at preferably postgraduate degree level. Candidates should have a good educational background; hold a B.S.c (or equivalent) in a relevant biological discipline. Furthermore, the candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills and be comfortable interacting with both internal colleagues and external organisations.

Accurate data recording practices, scientific document drafting, attention to detail and experience using Microsoft Office software are essential criteria for this role. Experience in a relevant role, the capability to work with minimal supervision and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively is desirable.
