Graduate Teaching Assistant - Maths

This role is a great opportunity for a talented maths graduate to take their first steps into teaching and see if they have what it takes to inspire and engage young people with maths.

Day-to-day, the role will require you to deliver pre-planned work to small groups of students or on a 1:1 basis, as well as assisting the class teacher with classroom activities. The role is exciting and varied with the potential of gaining more responsibility and eventually organising and delivering your own inspirational booster sessions.

The perfect candidate for this role will have a 1st class of 2:1 degree in mathematics or other related degree and will have a keen interest in supporting and empowering students to be the best they can be. You will need to be patient and resilient, with an outgoing and enthusiastic personality. In addition, you will need to have a commitment to a career in education.
