We have a fantastic opportunity at our Head Office in Birmingham to join our Marketing team for a 9 month fixed term contract. The Senior Campaign Manager will be responsible for both campaigns and marketing activities across both Coach and Bus divisions at National Express as well as delivery of the strategic business plans and contribute to the achievement of the National Express Strategy.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate, manage, influence and motivate across the organisation. The Senior Campaign Manager will scope and develop Coach and Bus briefs as required, influencing the approach, creative direction and execution. We are looking for an individual with excellent negation and communication skills and previous proven experience in a similar role.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the Head of Marketing in the strategic development and delivery of marketing plans for Coach and Bus brands
  • Recommend, design and develop marketing campaigns to deliver brand, communications and sales objectives. Ensure maximum impact and media efficiencies are achieved
  • Identify key target groups with the Insight team and develop customer insight driven activity
  • Work with appropriate functions to analyse current sales and market performance and identify, pre-evaluate and recommend activity to support commercial objectives
  • Work closely with Marketing Services and Ecommerce teams to deliver through the line integrated activity and a seamless customer experience
  • Establish robust mechanisms and processes for the post evaluation and measurement of key KPIs (e.g. brand health and awareness metrics)
  • Management of Advertising, Media and other support agencies
  • Forecast, manage and control marketing budgets
  • Inspire both teams and management by championing customer-led marketing plans and activity and integrated and strategic thinking
  • Monitor wider industry and identify and exploit emerging trends and new developments
  • Provide thought leadership on all aspects of integrated marketing
  • Generate innovative solutions to both new and long standing business challenges

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or above
  • Marketing qualifications are an advantage
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Experience of developing strategic marketing plans utilising the full marketing matrix
  • Ability to work on own initiative
