Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receiving and shipping of mail and parcels including (international) courier delivery services
- Helping in the workshop when appropriate
- Attending training sessions including health and safety, fire safety, first aid, forklift user, crane operator, manual handling etc.
- Preparing for and assisting with stock takes
- Carrying out daily cycle counts
- Keeping the stores organised, clean, tidy and accessible
- Organising the stock and updating the ERP system (Netsuite) to accurately reflect their inventory
- Receiving deliveries and checking their contents according to the delivery note
- Assisting the Stores Supervisor and Purchasing & Logistics Manager with a variety of operational task
- Keeping up to date with the online course modules and assigned homework

Candidate Requirements:
- Keen to learn and driven to succeed
- A confident communicator with good presentation skills
- Professional and flexible
- Good attention to detail
- Good Maths, English and IT skills
- Driving Licence & own car (not essential)
- Previous working experience (not essential)

The successful applicant will be supported in their development, spending 1 day a week, across ten weeks, in college and the remainder of their time will be spent supporting the operations team in a variety of tasks. Their time will be focused on learning the skills and gaining the experiences that will lead them to become a high-performing professional and achieving a Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration. They are offering a starting salary of £15,000 per annum (£6.41 per hour).
