On a daily basis you will be assisting with the inclusion team in providing high-quality intervention support to children who are classed as 'disadvantaged' due to their socio-economic background. With some provisional training, you will be expected to work with students from Year 7 up to Year 11, identifying specific areas where intervention support would prove beneficial in the academic success of the students you support. You will also support students who need nurture group support, often with social skills and resilience building.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a 2.1 degree, ideally in a core subject degree, however other degree subjects may be considered depending on experience. You should be a vibrant and energetic recent graduate who is thinking about one becoming a qualified teacher. The reason for this is due to the role enabling you to gain invaluable experience prior to training to teach. Excellent communication is key for the role as you will be liaising on a daily basis with a variety of people including: children, parents/carers, colleagues, teachers and senior leadership.
