Person specification - Oxbridge Graduate

This post requires a strong-willed highly academic graduate who has a passionate approach based on their own love of learning. You must have the skills to confidently participate in the whole school life and show the resolve and drive that will see you flourish as a teacher. We are looking for high calibre Oxbridge or Top 10 university graduates who have strong A Levels and a 2.1 degree or above. All subject specialisms are welcome, however core subjects are preferred. This role would suit a graduate who has previous experience of working with young people, either tutoring or other work experience.

About the role - Graduate Teaching Assistant

This is a varied role and you will gain experience of working across the whole school with a mixture of pastoral and academic responsibilities. You will support class teachers and work with student's 1:1 building up to small groups as your confidence grows. You will assist in the department where your subject specialism lies and have the opportunity to enhance your own development with excellent on the job training. This high achieving school has a sixth form where you will assist students when applying for Oxbridge or other top 10 universities.
